Who Is Crazy?

"My Child Had A Superior Drop!"

There was, once upon a time, a society known as the nation of Moolah. The people of Moolah, like the people of any organized society, had their own special customs and traditions. There was one particular custom that was observed every fourth year on the first day of the month of August. On this occasion, the Moolian law required that all parents with children under the age of 18 months go out into the backyard and build a 10 foot by 10 foot bed of nails. All the nails had to be 12 inches in length and evenly spaced. Then, at noon on the day of observance, the parents with children under the age of 18 months were required to take their young children up to the roof of the house (all Moolian houses were at least 3 stories high) and drop the child to the ground on to the bed of nails.

While to the outside observer this custom appears to be unusually cruel, the citizens of Moolah did not question it. It was something that was always done this way and as law abiding citizens, the good people of Moolah did not question the established way. Besides, the government of Moolah always rewarded the good citizens of Moolah who abided by the law and practiced this custom by giving them special tax credits for each child that was murdered, along with special parking spaces in the downtown shopping districts, and bumper stickers for the parents of those children who had a superior "drop."

There was, however, in one city of Moolah a woman named Reality who thought that the murdering of Moolian children was wrong. She went out into the streets and tried to tell the people of Moolah to stop killing their children. Reality passed out flyers and spoke on street corners. She pleaded with parents to save their children. Now, what do you think the good citizens of Moolah thought about this woman Reality? What do you think the good citizens of America think about the people who believe that the existing educational system is breaking down the American nuclear family and destroying the children of this nation? What do you think the good citizens of America think about people who believe that the existing educational system should be dismantled and replaced with a system of educating children that is based on the natural laws governing the healthy development of human beings?
